|The most magical part of the fall transitions for Bridges is hearing from the parents how much a placement at Bridges changed their child and family’s lives. One parent wrote, “This has been by far one of the best decisions by placing him here. We truly appreciate all that you folks have done for him. The work that you do is challenging, I know, but you all do it with such patience.” Another parent wrote, “When he was first diagnosed, our world crumbled. Then he started treatment at home and Bridges was recommended. We were so scared wondering if it was the right choice. Over the last 3 years you all have proven that to be so true! The progress he has made is beyond our wildest dreams and continues every day. Your constant willingness to work with him to meet his needs is unwavering. It is truly evident that each and every one of you love what you do and genuinely love the kids. We will miss all of you so much but will move on to the next step with confidence because of all your hard work.”|
