DeAnna recently joined the United Way team as our Community Impact Coordinator. She grew up in New York but has enjoyed her time in Maine, so much so, that she decided to live here permanently! DeAnna has her associate’s degree; and previously worked for The Salvation Army and comes with over a decade of experience working for a nonprofit organization that has strong ties to the community and promotes hope for those they serve.
She believes the world can be a much better place when we stop focusing on ourselves and how to “get a head” and start focusing on those around us and making sure our neighbors have their basic needs met. Only then can society truly move forward.
DeAnna lives in Old Town with her husband Chris and daughter Rachel and in her free time she enjoys being outside soaking up the sun.
