Are you looking for ways to positively impact your community? Do you want to learn about local volunteer opportunities? Heart of Maine United Way is hosting a volunteer fair on October 9th, from 10 AM–2 PM, and we’d love for you to stop by!
Local organizations and nonprofits looking for volunteers will be set up at tables throughout the Hub in Bangor. Community members can drop in to learn about local opportunities and connect with organizations.
At 12:00pm, we will have a presentation from Britt Gleixner-Hayat, the Executive Director of Volunteer Maine, about volunteerism in the state of Maine (pizza will be provided).
Attendance is free, and you are entered into a raffle for a prize basket just by stopping in! Pre-registering for this event gets you one additional submission for the raffle. You will get another ticket when you attend the event.
