Vice President & Chief Impact Officer
Matt, serving as the Vice President & Chief Impact Officer at Heart of Maine United Way, passionately leads, oversees, and innovates our community impact initiatives. Holding a BA in Public Management and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Maine, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his role.
Before joining HoMEUW, Matt excelled as the Director of Client Services at UniversityTickets and as the Program Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine.
A proud 2013 graduate of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute, Matt has been an active volunteer for over two decades. His commitment extends to various organizations, including Bangor West Little League, where he currently serves as the Board President, as well as engagements with the Bangor YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine, City of Bangor, and United Way.
In his leisure time, Matt enjoys travelling, eating delicious food, and is an avid sports fan. He calls Bangor home, where he resides with his husband, Derek, and their sons, Christopher and Owen.
