Every year, Heart of Maine United Way presents awards to the top-performing fundraisers in the area, categorized by Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
The criteria for awards are as follows:
Company average gift ≥ $260
Company gift per capita ≥ $80
Company % participation ≥ 40%
Implementation of Best Practices
Total amount raised ≥ previous year*
*Must be met before receiving any award
Platinum
Company meets all 5 criteria AND makes outstanding efforts to engage the public in their campaign
Gold
Company meets all (5) criteria
Silver
Company meets (4) out of (5) criteria
Bronze
Company meets (3) out of (5) criteria
Bonus
Companies that increase their campaign total by 20% or more over the previous year will receive a boost in award ranking.
PLATINUM & GOLD AWARD WINNERS will receive special recognization throughout the year including, but no limited to:
- Special TShirts at Kickoff
- Receive recognition in Leaders’ Circle Booklet
- Logo in BDN Ad
- Option to purchase a banner with Platinum/Gold standing highlighted
- Social Media post
PLATINUM, GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE AWARD WINNERS will receive special recognization throughout the year including, but no limited to:
- Social Media Shoutouts
- Listed in BDN Ad
- Recognition via, email, and website
- Press release to local media outlets
Awards are also given to the top Employee Campaign Manager and Volunteer of the Year.
All award winners will receive special recognition at the Campaign Celebration.
