
WARREN CARUSO
Husson University – Executive Director of Major Gifts & Men’s Basketball Head Coach
Warren Caruso has served as the head coach for the Husson men’s basketball program since 1994 and has led the Eagles to 16 conference championships and 16 NAIA/NCAA National Tournament appearances.
The winningest coach in North Atlantic Conference history, Caruso was inducted into the Husson Sports Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Maine Basketball Hall of Fame in 2023. He has served 35 years as both a head and assistant coach for the Eagles and currently ranks top 10 in the nation in NCAA Division III wins and second in New England in wins by an active coach.
A 1989 graduate from Husson, Caruso earned his bachelor of science public accounting and earned his master of science in business in 2003 and a master of science in human relations in 2018, both from Husson.
Born and raised in Bangor, Maine, Caruso enjoys being a part of the community where he grew up, went to school, works, and raised a family with his wife Nicole. They started dating in 1983 and married in 1990. They have two children Nathan Richard Caruso and Luke Ballard Caruso.
