Volunteer! We need YOU!
As part of Week of Action, individuals, teams and businesses from our community volunteer their time to tackle projects for local organizations. Last year, projects included activities such as yard work, cleaning up a local camp, and renovating dugouts for a local Little League field. As part of 2023 Heart of Maine Week of Action, five students (pictured) and an advisor from Maine Central Institute assisted with general grounds cleanup and planting at SKILLS in Pittsfield, Maine.

May 11, 2024 - STAMP OUT HUNGER
Participate in the National Association of Letter Carriers ‘Stamp out Hunger’ Food Drive (NALC). Through the generosity of the Bangor residents, we sorted, weighed, and distributed over 26,000lbs of food to local food pantries in 2023! That is more than 22,000 meals that went to those in need – join us again on Saturday, May 11!
