BANGOR, ME – Heart of Maine United Way will celebrate community donors and honor award-winning campaigns at its Annual Campaign Celebration June 8, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Cole Land Transportation Museum on Perry Road in Bangor.
Thanks to sponsorship from Bangor Savings Bank and support from other community partners like Maine Distributors and Hollywood Casino, the event is free.
“We are truly grateful for the more than 3,000 donors who will contribute more than $1.6 million dollars to our community. With these gifts, United Way and 40 partner agencies will help improve the lives of 121,541 people,” said Heart of Maine United Way President & CEO Shirar Patterson.
This event is a celebration and thanks donors to the 2022 campaign. Appetizers and beverages are available. In addition, United Way partners will be present to share how donor support is making a difference for their United Way-funded programs. Attendees can visit each area and complete a passport to be eligible for prizes and also enjoy the displays at Cole Land Transportation Museum.
Workplace campaigns will be recognized, and platinum, gold, silver and bronze awards will be announced at the event as will Employee Campaign Manager of the Year. More than 20 organizations will be honored.
