Kristen Card
Engagement Director
As a native of Wells, Maine, Kristen earned her undergraduate degree in English, with a minor in Political Philosophy, from Bowdoin College and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Daniel Webster College. She spent most of her professional career in Higher Education working in Residence Life and Graduate Admissions at Lesley University, Newbury College, and Hebrew College in Boston, MA, and at Western Governors University as a Program Manager for their online MBA Programs.
In 2022, Kristen began working at Heart of Maine United Way as a Loaned Executive working on the Annual Campaign. She has been in her role as Director of Engagement since July 2023.
Kristen is currently the Chair of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute’s (BRLI) Steering Committee, is a member of BRLI’s Curriculum and Alumni Committees, and sits on the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce’s Community Council. She is an avid hiker and enjoys weekends spent exploring Acadia National Park and the Bar Harbor Area.
