Heart of Maine United Way is proud to support the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive—the largest single-day food collection event in the country, organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers.
On Saturday, May 10, you can make a difference right from your doorstep by leaving a bag of nonperishable, unexpired food near your mailbox. Your donation will be collected by your letter carrier or a local volunteer. All food stays local and is distributed to food pantries in the community where it’s donated.
If you would like to volunteer, please sign up here: bit.ly/fooddrivevolunteersignup
In 2024, more than 19,000 pounds of food were collected and distributed through this effort—enough for over 16,000 meals. Join us in fighting hunger in our region through the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
