United Way

The COMMUNITY.

In partnership with the communities we serve, Heart of Maine United Way continues to be a trusted catalyst for change, enhancing lives across our six-county region.

The COMMUNITY: Maine’s Nonprofit Hub fosters collaboration, innovation, sustainability, and resilience for Maine’s nonprofit sector. By providing shared resources, expert guidance, and a space to connect, we empower organizations to scale their impact and meet the evolving needs of our communities. Together, we are building stronger, more resilient nonprofits and mobilizing communities so all can thrive.

We are excited to have opened the doors of The Community Hub this Fall and are continuing to develop additional programming launching in 2026.

Strategic Partnerships & Community Building

Foster collaboration across nonprofit, corporate, and public sectors by hosting convenings, building coalitions, and facilitating conversations that drive innovative community solutions.

Building the vision

As we transform the Community Hub, every paint stroke, floorboard, and wall brings our vision closer to reality. This renovation isn’t just construction—it’s the foundation of a collaborative, vibrant space designed for nonprofit innovation. These photos, from early plans to in-progress snapshots, bring to life our commitment to creating a dynamic environment where organizations gather, connection thrives, and impact is amplified across Maine.
