Our Initiatives
Bundle.
Bundle helps people in Piscataquis, Waldo, Hancock, & Washington counties connect with important services and reliable information for families with children.
We all want children to thrive. And we want the people taking care of them to thrive too. Maybe you need help with a newborn, one-on-one advice from a nurse, or just don’t know where to turn for reliable information about your baby’s development. Created by nurses, home visitors, parents, and local community partners, Bundle is a website and a community-based effort to help you find the support and answers you’re looking for. In a few quick taps on the website, you can find the support you need and the numbers to call.
The Bundle Box Program works with healthcare providers in our service area to distribute free care boxes to families. It’s another part of our effort to connect caregivers with local services and a sense of support. (Who doesn’t love a care package?)
Bundle began as a pilot project in the Maine Highlands region and is expanding to Waldo, Hancock, and Washington counties. Heart of Maine United Way intends to continue to grow the reach and impact of this program across our region in the coming years.
