The Boys & Girls Club of Bangor (BGCB) is committed to providing quality out-of-school learning opportunities that boost academic success and foster a lifelong love of learning. By creating a Makerspace, BGCB aims to inspire children with fun, hands-on STEAM activities—covering Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math—that encourage exploration and skill-building. This collaborative space allows youth to create, invent, solve problems, and learn through trial and error, helping them develop critical skills and perseverance. BGCB focuses on empowering economically disadvantaged youth in Bangor to overcome barriers and reach their full potential.
