The Waldo Alliance for Mentorship (WAM) is building a future where every young person in Waldo County has access to a caring mentor and meaningful opportunities to thrive. By uniting schools, nonprofits, and community partners, WAM is creating a county-wide network that breaks down barriers and expands possibilities for youth.
Through innovative collaborations, WAM will launch a mentorship network, provide operational support to grassroots programs, and establish a transportation hub so no young person misses out due to lack of access. Guided by youth voice and vision, WAM is weaving mentorship into the fabric of our communities—connecting students with caring adults, real-world experiences, and pathways to brighter futures. This transformative initiative will strengthen our economy, improve youth well-being, and inspire the next generation to lead with confidence and purpose.
